TMF just released a new firmware V1.2 for TMF Pro controller around end of November. They increased the temperature compensation setting which also requires a minor modification in the controller hardware. The original board and firmware are still fine. The revised firmware is to tune the gyro sensitivity a bit that may help to improve stability in some cases.
The hardware modification involve two simple steps:
1. remove a small resistor R21. 2. short-circuit the two contact points of R19.
Please find the pictures below for the difference between original board and the revised one. If your board is the reivsed one, it already comes with new firmware and no need to upgrade the firmware.
In case your controller board is the original one and you want to upgrade to the V1.2 firmware, you will need to do the hardware modification as mentioned above. Please be reminded you will need to do the firmware upgrade right after the hardware modification because the revised board may not work with the original firmware and vice versa.
Here we enclosed video links which may help if you want to do the modification yourself.
