We found an article online from a pilot sharing his modification with mini signal booster. Let’s see!
Look at the appearance. The pilot drilled some antenna holes on the surface of radio transmitter.
The 5V power connector is on the back; the pilot also suggests upgrading the voltage to 12V.
The transmitter looks fine by appearance.
Inside the radio transmitter, the pilot modified 2.4G and 5.8G booster to fit in; he removed the handle screw and some plastic hardware. He added a voltage regulator module to upgrade the voltage to 12V, so the signal booster can be connected to power supply directly.
After the modification, Phantom2V+ and radio transmitter work properly in the height of 1000 meters.
