DIY 96650 EDR gimbal with hard disk motor

We found an article shared at the forum about DIY brushless EDR gimbal with hard disk motor, let’s see!
 
I used two aluminum blocks to connect motors and camera (EDR). I attached the camera on the monitor with 3M tape. The controller board is Russian Ver2.2. For stabilization, instead of silicone damper, I attached double layers of foam tape on a glass fiber board for downward mount. The gimbal weight is 168G, includes camera, controller and glass fiber board. The fine tune and adjustment took me one hour.
 
I flied my UAV with two batteries, and I was very satisfied with the result. The stabilization performance is excellent, just the foam tape is too thick to cause jello effect on the video. The flight time is ten minutes.
 
My accessories:
APM2.6GPS, 30A ESC with BLHeli firmware, 2810 900 KV motor, APC props, 4000MA 3S battery, and homemade voltage regulator.
  




Attached 3M tape between controller board and sensor.
 


Drilled holes on the fiber glass board for lighter weight. 
 


Used aluminum blocks to fix motor.
 




There is a square slot at the bottom of frame for roll motor.
